As soon as she began to speak, Courtney found her love and talent for singing. Courtney’s musical debut came when she was just in kindergarten, singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the school Christmas pageant. Not long after, she wowed people at her second public performance, performing Somewhere Out There for her aunt’s wedding. After that, Courtney was hooked. That fall, she went into the studio for the first time to record her debut album, a Christmas CD entitled Christmas Through Courtney’s Eyes. Her second CD, Perfect in His Eyes, a collection of some of Courtney’s favorites along with a few original tunes written just for her, was released in October 2005.

Courtney & Taylor Chosen for the Second Year as the March of Dimes ND Ambassadors!

As the 2008 North Dakota Ambassadors, the Smith girls travels throughout North Dakota as representatives of March of Dimes. They share their story in hopes of inspiring people to help the March of Dimes advance their work in research, education, and advocacy. Courtney has also shared her talents as a singer by performing at many of the Walk events during 2007. Taylor continues to grow and develop, enjoys horseback riding and walks every year for March of Dimes.
