Hello everyone!
I had a good weekend. I sang at the wedding of Jaret & Megan Wirtz. I sang From This Moment On and The Rose. Congrats Jaret and Megan! My mom told me what was going on during the wedding. I got to go to a Birthday party today for my friend Bobbi at the aquatic center and her house. It was fun!

I had school today. Kids parents came to our school and talked about their job. I brailled math and some sentences. I had more brailling to do, but we ran out of time. My mom made me read a book tonight. The braille book had some hard words!

It was a fun day in school! After school I went to Bible class. My mom let me walk over with my sister Taylor and our friend Kelsey. It was fun. And then it was off to guitar. I usually have guitar with my little brother, but I had to go after bible class. When I got home my mom was going to make me do spelling words, but I sneaked out with my brother Justin and rode bike instead. She caught us later and everyone had to do spelling. The spelling words are hard and I keep getting them mixed up. I made up songs to remember them. It made my mom laugh. I had to hide my kitten in my room. My dad keeps saying he's going to put her outside. I hid her under my covers and she stayed quiet! We tricked him.

Hello everyone! I had school again. It was a good, but I got tired. I came home and laid on the couch and listened to cartoons for a while. My brother Justin then talked me into going outside and pushing him on his tractor. That was kinda fun. My dad tried to get me to go and check cows with him. I hate cows! SO I stayed home and rode my bike. My mom had me do spelling words for ever! Then we did typing tutor and then I typed some of my spelling words. My brothers were trying to watch me type. They kept trying to mix me up, so my mom chased them away! My little brother had to go and read two books to my dad and do his spelling words. My twin was doing everything possible, but spelling. She wanted to type them since I was. So when I got done she had her turn. I think I am going to get schedule wrong on my spelling tommorow.

It is thursday and I had school again. I took my speling test and got them all right even Schedule. Mrs. Hanzal gave us all a tree in school. I have to get a pot to plant it until spring. When summer comes we will put it outside. I did typing tutor in school with Mrs. Colbenson (my vision teacher) we did the letter memory game. After school we took Justin to flag football practice. Now I am doing this with my mom. I am going to go and water all my plants.

I am so glad it is friday. I didn't have to take my spelling test today since I got them all right on thursday! After school we took my brother to football and then went home. And now I am going to stay at my grandmothers. My grandpa is away, so she wants Taylor and me to stay over night. We know what that means music, cookies, and lots of fun!

I came home from Grandma's this morning. I got home just in time for Sunday School. Church was good. My brothers had ants in their pants today. My older brother was trying to make funny noises in Church to make me laugh. My dad was not to happy. On the way home my little brother was trying to fight me in the back seat. I accidently gave him a bloody nose. It bled all the way home. My mom was very disgusted. I told my brother if he would have behaved God would help him stop his bloody nose. My mom and dad thought it was kind of funny. Rachel Douts- Miss North Dakota Outstanding Teen came to do voice with me and sing with me today. She is a lot of fun. She is a awesome singer. Later today I have 4-H. Our 4-H group is doing a community service project. We are going to fix boards and paint the bleachers at the football field. I don't know what I will do. Everyone is welcome to sign my guestbook. I love to meet new people and see where they are from.

Its Monday and I had school today. Our student teacher was gone. My friend Rebecca was my sighted guide. Rebecca is my friend and I have a lot of fun with her. Well actually she always helps me into the school everyday. I take a cane with me. I do not like dogs. I don't think I will have a sighted guide dog. We have a dog named Bob. He is 12 years old and doesn't bother me. He doesn't bother anyone, just sleeps on the deck or garage.I have a new friend called Aaron. She plays with me at recess and sits by me at my desk. We run around a lot. She likes to touch my wikki sticks. I use wikki sticks to outline stuff. My twin Taylor doesn't sit by me. She is very quiet. She is not like me. I like to sing and visit. I haven't got in trouble for talking yet! In music we sang songs. In phyed I have partners from the 5&6th grade class. My brother is in 6th grade and he has not been my partner yet. I do not want him to be my partner. And he informed me he did not want to be my partner! Courtney does braille in school. Courtney skips in the hall. When I got home from school my brother Jake babysat me why my mom picked up my twin from piano. I have to practice guitar and spelling tonight and maybe do some typing talking tutor. I am back again. It was cold outside this morning. It is suppose to snow. I hope it does so I can go sledding. My mom got me some new gloves. In phyed I was a partner with Raven. She was fun. I played soccer in phyed. We have stations we go to and I was in the spelling station. Kellen was my partner. He is funny. We had to stay in for the last recess, becuase it was raining. I had 3rd grade Bible class today. The kids all paged through the Bibles and looked for stuff. My Bible is on CD, and it has not came in, so I was a partner with Cadyn. We then practiced the Lords Prayer. It is said in Church on all Sundays. Pastor Narum was gone, but Intern Deb was their. She is very nice. After Bible Class I went to guitar. My guitar teachers name is Mona. She can play anything. I played Amazing Grace with her. My brother went right after school and he played Mary had a Little Lamb. He is a good guitar player. I love the guitar. The guitar players in my band were a lot of fun. My whole band was fun! They can play anything too. MY dummer in the band was funny. He would accidently burp. I burped with him. The band I use also does thier own band work. When they play for me they are called Courtney's Vision. They will be playing at the Hostfest in Minot ND. They are a Gospel Group, but will play Christian and Country for me. I am singing at the Pride Of Dakota Shows in Fargo and Bismarck. My mom made yucky pizza with cheese for supper. My little brother told me to plug my nose when I chew. It didn't help I still gagged. My mom gave me milk and to just eat it. I hate cheese!!!!! Who made cheese??? My friend Alexis is going to try and change my mind on dogs. She is funny. She is going to be getting one. My mom keeps telling me to turn off my music or turn it down. Hello Everyone. Courtney is not feeling well tonight. Her throat is sore and she went to bed. She didn't want to leave today off her journal though. I told her we would journal for her. It snowed and was cold today. Courtney said she saw Keith Gustafson today. Keith was at the school for a meeting on Courtney's IEP. Both her and Taylor really like him. Taylor calls him the nice man who smiles. Well Courtney & Taylor say Goodnight to everyone!

I'm back. I feel better today. My mom keeps bugging me asking me if I'm sick. I do not like being sick and when I am I will say I'm not! I rode the bus to school this morning. I had my practice spelling test and got them all right. So I don't have to do it tommorow. Mrs. Rudolph asked me if I was sick and I said NO I AM NOT SICK! Recess was not fun at all! It was very cold. My stocking hat makes my hair very messy. My brother Justin put a Halloween CD in my stereo. he was trying to scare me. It did not scare me though. I can not find my school bag. I always put it on the bench and some icky person in this house moved it. I have an idea who did it? My mom will have to find it. I got a little tree this last week and my mom keeps forgetting to get me a pot. I hope she gets one tommorow. I brought in all my plants from the back porch. It gets too cold for them out their. My mom thinks I am going to the football game tommorow night. I think I will have her call Grandma Norma so I can go to her house. My mom and dad and brothers think the blue jays will win. I am going to bed.

It was cold outside today. After school my mom picked us up. My little brother Justin got the stomach flu. I hope I don't get it. I stayed home from the football game with my dad. He stayed home and took care of Justin why my mom took my twin and older brother to the football game. It was too cold for me. The Stanley Blue Jays won the game against the Williams County Firestorm. My brother was excited.

It is Saturday and I slept in. My friend Cadyn called and Taylor and I went to her house to play. She had two other friends their also. We played outside and had fun. When I got home my dad called and my brother who was duck hunting shot a duck. The duck was out in a slew at our farm. My mom had to bring a inner tube out so he could get the duck which was a little off shore in the water. My mom and I walked down a steep hill on the duck hunt. It was cold. On the way back up the hill I had to help my mom get back up the hill. I told her to take big steps. My moms camera went dead, so she put me in charge of it. She took my dads camera phone and took pictures. My brothers were so excited. When we got home, my brother and my dad got the meat off it. I tried the duck meat and it was good. I said it tasted like chicken and my mom laughed. I guess everything tastes like chicken. My mom and dad wouldn't eat any. My brother was mad. Tommorow my brother is going turkey hunting at my grandpa's. I might go and visit grandma. I don't know. My mom thinks I am going to stay and clean my room. I think it is bedtime. Goodnight! I was tired so my mom typed it all tonight.

Today didn't start out very good. I couldn't find my cane and the bus came. I had to use my cane that was at school. I always hang it by my bed. I think someone moved it. Mom? My mom picked me up after school. My twin had piano. At her piano teachers house, we saw her puppies. They made funny sounds. My mom said the mom dog is the kind of dog that is used as a guide dog. My brother wants a dog for hunting. My mom keeps telling him no! Well I have to go find my cane.

It snowed last night. And yes I found my cane. I left it in the van. My mom found it. I had Bible study today. It was fun. We are learning about the Bible. I keep telling my notty brother God is watching. My mom reminded me he is watching me to and I better behave. My Grandpa and Grandma came to visit tonight. My Grandpa has been hauling sugar beets. He has to go back. We have missed him. Justin and I played guitar for him. Justin played Old McDonald and Smoke On The water. I played Amazing Grace and Old Mc Donald. I love to play the guitar, so does Justin. It is Justin's 2nd year and my first sohe is a little better. I have started practicing for my Christmas Concerts. Christmas music is fun. My mom's favorite is Silent Night. I am not sure my dad really likes Christmas music. Only my Christmas CD.

Today is a good day. It is the last day of school for the week, for teachers convention. I think my vision teacher is going to Bismarck. I am going to sleep in tomorrow. I told me mom thier is a important note in my bag for her. It is directions for test taking next week. We take them next monday, tuesday, and wednesday. I think the tests will be hard. After school my brothers went out to my grandma and grandpa's to saty and hunt a couple of days. It will be so quiet!

I have been hanging out with my dad. My twin sister woke up with the flu. She has just stayed in her room and slept. I told my mom I do not want the flu, so she told me to just stay away from Taylor. Our cat has been sleeping with her. I hope he doesn't get sick. I don't know what we would do then. My dad does not like my cats very well. But he knows he better be nice to them or else. So he pretends he likes them. I have been listening to music and PBS kids on the radio all day. Tommorow I will have to start working on my Christmas music. If I don't have the flu! My brothers called and decided to come home until my mom said Taylor had the flu, so they are staying with grandma again. So it will be a peaceful night.

Today was a busy day. After I got up my mom, Taylor and I went to town. We had to get gas. My mom said I hope we got enough to get to town. Taylor said mom you have to remember to fill up. My mom laughed and told her we would let her walk to the gas station. We luckily got to the gas station. And we all laughed. After that we went to the Painted Pony for lunch. It was fun just mom and her girls. I don't like subs, but the cafe had hamburgers. They must have just started. Marlowe Gandrud came in and was ordering out. He sat and visited with us. His girls used to babysit us. Marlowe asked the server to get Taylor another pickle. She thought that was funny. Marlowe has always been so nice. We then went to the dollar store. It was fun, Taylor and I walked around and found fun things for our kitten. The clerk had no idea I was blind. My mom said that I do such a good job navigating and keeping my head up. When we got home, my dad and the boys were home. They were hunting. The boys needed to come home I think they were driving Grandma nuts. So now they can drive me nuts. I am glad Justin is home. He likes to play with me. Jake likes to tease me. I don't always like that. Now I am going to bed.

I have had a busy day. I had voice with Rachel Douts and she brought along her CD she recorded when she was 10. It is so cool. She has a beautiful voice. We are practicing her music and are going to sing together during Christmas time. It will be fun. I am have a lot of Christmas concerts this year. It will be fun. I love Christmas music. My Grandma Mary starts listening to Christmas music around Thanksgiving. She listens to my Christmas CD. After I got done with voice we went to Minot to get Halloween costumes. I am going to be a witch. Don't tell Taylor she doesn't know I am copying her. She will be mad when she finds out. My mom said "Oh well". My brothers are going to be scary. They got bloody knives. My mom does not like those things. I know they got them becuase she had to yell at them to put the bloody knives away on the way home. They laughed at her. My dad did to. My dad was my sighted guide today in Super Walmart. I forgot my cane. He took me through all the halloween stuff and the toys. He had me feel a face and it felt scary. He said Courtney you just felt someones face. He scared me. He likes to tease me. When we went to the grocery part of the store and my dad and I found good food. Jake and Taylor were getting mad becuase my mom told them no, but me and my dad just put things in the cart. It was funny. My mom said NO JUNK! My dad wanted to get my mom a camp stove for her birthday. She hates camping. I hope he doesn't really get her one. I read 2 books tonight. Justin read 4 books to me on the way to Minot. He read Halloween and Christmas books. It was fun. He is getting to be a good reader. Taylor read her AR books and Jake read part of his Kids Farmers Almanac. My mom has them read on the way to places so they don't fight. They still fight. She keeps saying one more time and your walking home. They know it's to far 45 miles, so they aren't to scared. I have to go to bed early. We have State Testing starting tommorow. I hope I don't get the flu.

Hello everyone. I took tests today. Mine were read to me and I followed along in braille. They weren't as hard as I thought they would be. I rode the bus home. When I got home my dad was home. My mom went to Minot to get her drivers license renewed. I won't get a drivers license. I want a convertible and my own driver. Not Taylor or Jake either. Grandpa said he will take me where ever I want to go. He likes to go for drives. He has a team of draft horses and he takes us for drives in the wagon or the buggy. Taylor knows how to drive them. The only thing I can drive is when I am in the go kart with my mom and she tells me right or left. That is fun. We go where I can't run into anything. My mom has teachers conferences tommorow night. I hope she hears good things. She hates going to them. I have Bible class and guitar after school tomorrow. I love hearing from people so don't be shy. Kolby wrote in my guest book about getting a seeing eye dog. I love to hear stories. Thanks everyone who has emailed me or wrote in my guest book.

This is the last day of tests. After school my dad took us to Minot to get my mom a birthday present. It was fun. We got her a cappucino machine. She loves cappucino's. My mom went to Dickinson and Bismarck with Grandma Mary. She took her for her Birthday and to pick up her Grand Father Clock. My dad was worried that he would run into her in Minot. He didn't know if they would come through Minot or not. My dad doesn't like shopping. He did pretty good shopping with 4 kids. I think my mom will laugh. She doesn't like going with all 4 kids.

Hello everyone. I am so glad I don't have spelling this week. My little brother has to do spelling words. He has some hard words and keeps breaking the lead on his pencil. It makes my mom mad. He does it on purpose. My mom opened her cappucino machine this morning. She was excited. My dad said now you don't have to go to town. I think my mom likes to go to town. In school we wrote letters to famous people. A person in my class thinks I am famous. My brother said your not famous. And laughed at me. My mom said He can laugh all he wants. Nobody wants him to sing. I have to go shower and my mom is typing and my brother needs help with spelling.

Thank goodness it is saturday. I am going to my grandma's to play. My mom and brother are going to the football game in Velva. We wish the Bluejays couls have won. My mom said they played so awesome! She said it got cold so I am glad I didn't go. Grandma and I have fun. We beat my mom and brother home. My dad made hamburgers for supper. He is a good cook.

It is Sunday and I got my 3rd grade Bible during church. My twin was my sighted guide. Actually she pulled me up to the front of the church with a big grin on her face. I could feel it. My Bible is on CD. After Church we had 4-H awards day at the bowling alley. My mom is a council member, so she had to hand out awards. It was funny, when I went up to get my award, she shook my hand and I put my tooth that came out in her hand. I thought it was funny. I told her to remind the tooth fairy to come. After 4-H awards we went home and picked up toys in the yard. It is suppose to snow tonight and storm tommorow. I hope not!

It is halloween. I am a witch this year. Taylor is a witch too. We even got brooms. After guitar we will go trick or treating. Jake (my older brother) is going with his friend Braedon and Justin is going with Ben Colbenson. Justin really likes Ben. He is a Sophmore in highschool and is so nice to Justin. He took Justin last year. I am going with my twin Taylor and friends Kelsey(Bens sister) and Caydin T. We had so much fun. We went to Mrs. Rudolph's and had hot cocoa. We have hot cocoa thier every year. We went to Mrs. Hanzal's and had hot cider their. I got a lot of candy!

After school I had voice at the High School. We worked on breathing. They had me lay on the floor and sing. When you lay flat you have to breath correctly. I do very well breathing incorrectly, but sound better and it is much easier when you do it correctly. It was fun! My mom thinks it is funny how I love voice. I am getting ready for singing at the Pride of Dakota Shows in Bismarck and Fargo. I love singing for people. My brother woke up with the stomach flu for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. He was very sick and very upset. I hope I don't get it.

It was a sad day. My cousin came over and we went in to see my bird "Bell" was found dead. I loved my bird and don't know why he died. We will bury him in the back yard. I miss him already and we just found him. He always sang when I practiced my songs. And in the summer he was my alarm clock. When the sun came in he would sing and get me up. He would sing every time I turned on the radio. I bet in bird heaven he is singing and listening hopefully to my music. I told my mom I need another bird. Maybe a canary. Anyone with any ideas? I hate not hearing my bird jumping around the cage! I had voice today with Rachel Douts. We practiced Christmas songs and had so much fun. My mom said her Grandmother had died and her funeral was on saturday. So I am hoping Rachel is doing o.k.. Rachel is so kind and fun.

I am still sad. I woke up and didn't hear my bird. I hope my mom goes to Minot and gets me any kind of bird. My older brother Jake stayed home from school today. He got the stomach flu yesterday after church and was still sick. It is funny becuase he is so quiet and doesn't bother me when he is sick. My dad said not to get to used to it and laughed!

I had guitar after school. It was fun. I like guitar with my little brother. After we got home, Taylor cleaned the garage to make money and Justin and I rode bike. He told me where to go. I fell off a few times. We then had to go and get my big brother at wrestling practice. We had to have supper ready, because he is so hungery after practice. He get crabby. He likes to trick my mom. He will tell her he flunked a test, just to get her all mad and then laughs and tells her the truth like he got a A. He did it today. I would never do that to my mom. Taylor would though.

We went to Minot today to visit and celebrate my great grandmas birthday. It was fun and we had cake and other treats. Afterwards we went shopping at Walmart. I like shopping at Walmart. Then we went and I got my new bird. I got a parokeet. I am naming Adam. I do not know why I am naming him this, but it fits. The bird was in a box and it sat next to me and my brother all the way home. It made funny sounds in the box, like it wanted to get out.

We left this morning for the Fargo Holiday Showcase. I am peforming for the Pride of DAKOTA Holiday show. When we got to Fargo we went to the MArch of Dimes office and met a nice lady named Karin. Since Taylor and I were preemnies we are going to become active with the March of Dimes. She even knew Dr. Carver, our neonatologist and also a family friend. I may even sing for their walk-a-thon this spring in Minot. After that we went to my Aunts house and made pizza. She came home from work at the Fargo Forum and was mad. Jake my older brother had bought sardines and ate them. Her whole apartment smelled really, really bad! My mom almost got sick from the smell. She was gagging. Had to hold breath to keep from getting sick. Jake thought it was hilarious. We had to open windows. After we aired the apartment out, my Aunt Andrea and my mom went to the Pride of Dakota show case to setup. I will sell my CD's and also sing tommorow and sunday.

We got to the Pride of Dakota Holiday Show case at about 9:30am. I sang at 1:00. It was awesome! Everyone was so nice. The people next to us with the booth with horse stuff, had a bowl of tootsie rolls. I think my brothers cleaned them out. My mom and aunt told me that their were some cute guys across from us. I met all kinds of people. Some people would talk, but others would just walk by. I could hear them walking by.

We once again are back at the Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase. I sing at 2:00 today. It will be fun. My mom brings my sound system along, so it sounds cool! I had fun meeting everyone! We will go home tonight.

We are going to my Grandma Marys and Grandpa Jims for Thanksgiving. My aunt and uncle Pete & Sara will be their from Bozeman. They are fun. We will eat a lot. They have Bassett hounds and are annoying! My mom said I have to be nice to them.

Today I am singing at the teen center in Stanley for the Arts and Crafts Show. We then walked around and my mom told me what was their. Mrs. Rudolph was their with her grandkids. She is so funny. I could hear her in the crowd. Her grandkids and I walked around and shopped together.

We are leaving for the Bismarck Holiday Showcase. The weather is kind of yucky, so we are going to go early. Karen Colbenson, my vision teacher is going along, I hope she doesn't bring braille along. HAHA We are staying in Bismarck with my great aunt Gloria. She is so nice. We went to Grizzleys to eat supper after we got to Bismarck. We then went to the Holiday Show case to setup. It was fun. People were saying" I hope your singing this weekend" I said yes I am. I met so many fun people tonight.

We got up and went to the Pride of Holiday showcase. It was a great time. Next to us was a store selling meat. They weren't real fun. On the other hand the ones next to us on the other side were Hiliarious and a blast. They also are shirt tail relatives. Dakota Free owners are my Great Grandma's relatives. So that was cool. Their were so many people at the showcase. It was announced that MS. Rodeo ND Ashley Andrews was crowned Ms. Rodeo America in Las Vegas! I had my picture taken with her in Blaisdell. She is very nice.

Today I will sing again. I had my picture taken with ND Ag Commisioner Roger Johnson. He was very nice. I also had my picture taken with Laura White. She was really, really nice. She is a intern with Pride of Dakota . She will be done in 2 weeks. She would be a good person to hire. We left Pride of Dakota at about 5:15 after we packed up. My mom hit a deer on the way home. It was a big deer. Lucky we could still drive the van the rest of the way home. It was icy and she didn't even go in the ditch.

I sang at the Free Luthern Church in Stanley. It was fun. We then went to Splash down and went on the water slides. We had supper with Dr. Carver and his wife. They are always fun.

We had church and practiced for the Sunday school program. At 4:00 we had a Christmas Singspiration. I sand with Rachel Douts and Sang while Mona Bingon(guitar) and Pastor fiske(violin) accompanied me. It was fun and we had chili afterwards at church. Their were a lot of people thier which I am glad becuase my mom and Susan Halden put it on.

KFYR TV comes to our school and does a story on me. It was cool. I wore a microphone on my shirt. My classmates all got to go up and sing jingle bells with me. We went to the wrestling meet and I did the National Anthem for them. My brothers love wrestling. My mom took me home early to be with my dad. I sing for popcorn at basketball and wrestling meets.

Yesterday I had my program at school. I was a girl rag doll. I was on TV this morning. I was standing in the hallway by my room when it was on tv. During the interview we talked about a lot of things, especially singing. My favorite part was singing 'Jingle Bells' with my class.
We only have 4 more days of school before vacation - yahoo! I believe in Santa and he is actually real. Today Matthew's mom came and shared her Christmas tradition. Her Christmas tradition is making Monster Cookies. My part was pouring a can of oatmeal into a container. We are going to eat a cookie on Monday, but we have the recipe to make them if we can't wait until then! Nathan's mom made krumkake as a Christmas tradition with our class and all of us got to try it. It was great!

Hello everyone! Can you believe were back? The last time we journaled was December 2006. It is now March of 2008. Well anyway, school is going good. I have been working on my music. I am going to Nashville next summer to record number 3. I hope it sounds good. Taylor is busy with all her animals and my youngest brother Justin is doing Pee Wee wrestling. He likes to practice on us girls. My older brother Jake is also busy. He is done with wrestling for the year. I think he is glad to be able to just come home. Now he has to do chores! Taylor and I are the 2008 ND March of Dimes Ambassadors. So we will start traveling again. It is FUN, FUN!!!!

This is my last day of school. I won’t be there though. Can you believe it I am going to be running the Fargo Marathon. The youth marathon. I am doing the ½ mile with my twin sister Taylor and little brother Justin . My grandma is going also. Her and my mom are running the 5K. I hope my mom doesn’t beat grandma. Grandma is a little competitive.

The race is on! Taylor, Justin and myself had to get up early and go to a friends of ours while my mom, aunt and grandma ran there race. My aunt Andrea did the 1/2 marathon. Just to let everyone know that we made it through the Fargo Marathon. My mom did the 5K with my grandma Mary, yes she wore her brace and yes where the tendon was tore, it is swollen. My mom ran the 5K in 37:46. She came in 139/687 in her division. I didn't want my mom to beat my grandma, but my mom didn't realize grandma was behind her. OPPS! HAHAHAHAHA! Taylor, Justin, I did the youth run. It was one of the hardest things I have done in my life. It was something my mom and I will forget. I was exhausted and thought I was going to die for about 1/2 hour afterwards. I held my breath and did not puke! I did the 1/2 mile. I am happy I did it, and next year maybe I will do it again. I did it with a 35 mile an hour wind facing me. It was a great accomplishment. My mom was so proud watching us, come onto the big screens in the Fargo Dome as we entered the arena. It is the first time my mom has seen Justin so tired, he just wanted to collapse and yes he beat Taylor. She has a plan for next year!

Today I am singing at Verendry Electrics annual meeting. I have been working on my songs. Randal Reese is going to come and MC the event for me. I think he was shocked at how many people were there. I couldn’t see them so I wasn’t surprised. I just love singing for people. Everyone was so helpful and kind to us while we were there. I visited with a nurse friend who took care of us in the NICU when I was born. Her name is Loretta. She had her grandson with her. I also met a little boy who came to see me. He has a prosthetic eye. He came with his grandma. They said they love my music. I think his name was Jackson. After we were done we went to my favorite place Mc Donalds.

Horray! My little brother goes to CAMP!!!!! He is going to be with his friends Trevor and Dalton. I hope they behave themselves! They like to have fun! Or at least Justin does!

Happy Fathers Day Dad! I am leaving for Camp of the Cross Guitar Camp. I am so excited! It is the first camp that I will be gone for 5 days! Briana a friend is going to go with she is 13 and will be in the 8th grade. She is soooo coool! We picked her up at her house at 1:30. We got a little lost when we got to Garrison. My mom kept saying Briana I thought you knew the way. She just laughed. My little brother said didn’t we already go down this road? My mom kept saying we are on an adventure. When we got the camp we were met by counselors who were very nice. We went into the cabin and and my mom made sure all the paperwork was done. The Briana took my hand and we were off. My mom said the Pastor Jans said you can call and check on her, but she reassured him she would be alright, not me, but herself.. I think my mom is more dependent on me than I am on her. I think she will miss me. I said I will be to busy to miss anyone!

On the first day of camp I woke up got dressed and ate breakfast. I knew we were going to sleep on hospital beds. I could tell by feeling them. I know from eye surgeries what they feel like. And another camper looked and she said you are right they are. We then did Life Story and then it was guitar time. Hans Peterson, who by the way is famous was the guitar leader. He was so cool and fun. The we had morning worship. We then had lunch. The food was good. I did something I have never done before, I was in a paddle boat where you use your feet to get the boat going. I loved that! Then we went to the canteen and I got a fruit snack and a Gatorade. It was hot outside!

Today we had a very interesting day. We didn’t have afternoon guitar because of the storms. We had to go to a storm shelter and while we waited the storm out we sang songs. When the storm was over we went back outside and did more things. There were a lot of storms brewing. The sheriff called again and we had to go back down into the storm shelter. We were cramped into this shelter that was a little like a basement. We were packed in there. It was kinda fun! I wasn’t even scared!

This is the last day of camp and we put on a program for our families. I was in a guitar section. While we played everyone sang. We then said good bye to everyone! I made so many friends! I loved this camp! I can’t wait to come back next year! When we got home there was a storm there and we had to wait it out before we went out to Grandpa’s farm to a Birthday Party for Great Uncle Norval. He is very nice. He loves to take pictures. Taylor and Jake rode horse for a while tonight. I think they ride just about every night. They even get Grandpa to go with them.

My mom and I went to Minot to get the license plates for the horse trailer. Taylor goes to barrel and pole camp on Sunday and we need to be legal. My mom and I had fun making funny noises in the mall with our flip flops. My mom said we had to quit, because people were starting to look strangely at us. But I don’t think she cared, because we kept on doing it. It was so cool, we ran into a nurse in the mall that I have never seen, but took care of me in the NICU. My mom said she was really nice. Her name was Cindy W. It was fun seeing her. My mom said she still has the calming voice she had in the hospital. My mom said she remembers thinking holy smokes she had more than 6 boys and she was so upbeat and loved her family dearly. My brothers drive my mom nuts, but she loves them dearly too. My mom said we have to really get busy on the new music I am recording in Nashville in July. I agreed. My producer who is on the Tim McGraw Tour sent us another awesome song called We are America. My mom said it is one of those songs that make you want to sing along. It is beautiful! You all will have to wait to hear it!

Today, my dad is helping get the Blaisdell Rodeo grounds ready for the rodeo coming up this next weekend. He is the treasure. I think he also has spraying to do. My mom and I are going to hang out and help Taylor get packed. Taylor and Justin were working with there heifers this morning. Thank God I don’t have to do that. Justin gets frustrated with his heifer. She is a little like him, onry! I hope he doesn’t read this, because I maybe be dead meat! HAHA My brother Jake who is 13, doesn't come home much in the summer. He likes to stay at the other farm with Grandma and Grandpa. I think they kinda like him living there for the summer. He mows lawn, checks cows, feeds grain to cows, and does fencing. He has done a lot of that. He helps my dad in the field too. Taylor and Justin also like to help with field work. Taylor loves to ride horse out and check cows. Jake likes harvest and that is when he is with dad the most helping. I have a prayer request.
